The 9th International Corrosion Prevention Symposium for Research Scholars (CORSYM 2026) aims to familiarize students and young research scholars with the fundamental principles and practical aspects of corrosion, its effects, and protection measures. This symposium provides an excellent networking opportunity, fostering a crucial connection between research scholars and corrosion scientists worldwide, dedicated to tackling corrosion through meaningful approaches. The symposium program will feature keynote lectures, oral and poster presentations. Research scholars from diverse academic, R&D, and industrial laboratories pursuing their doctorate/masters or other undergraduate corrosion-related fields are warmly invited to present their original work and actively participate in CORSYM2026.

Ampp india chapter (previously nace international india section (niis)) was established in 1992.Ampp india chapter is one of The largest and most active sections of ampp through its significant efforts for the promotion ofcorrosion awareness, protection And control of corrosion in india. With over 1000 members, ampp india chapter has organized over 217 certification courses on Cip level 1, level 2, peer review, cip 2 emphasis, nuclear power plant course, o-cat, pcs 2, basic corrosion, direct assessment, Internal corrosion for pipeline, refinery corrosion and cathodic protection 1, 2, 3 & 4 of ampp. It has also organized more than 255 educational corrosion awareness programs and hosted 31 annual corrosion conferences. To commemorate corrosion Awareness day, ampp india chapter awards individuals and institutions for their contributions to corrosion awareness and Developments in the field of corrosion science and technology. The ampp india chapter sponsors five student chapters. Ampp Student chapters had organized “Corsym” international corrosion conference for students. About Sri Siddhartha Institute Of Technology, Tumkur
Sri Siddhartha Institute of Technology (SSIT), Tumkur, established in 1979 under Sri Siddhartha Education Society (founded in 1959 by Dr. H.M. About Mechanical Department
The department of Mechanical Engineering was established in the year 1979 and its undergraduate program B.E.(Mech) is recognized by AICTE. The department has well equipped laboratories and is blessed with highly qualified, experienced dedicated faculty. It has facilities for materials research and automotive research related to combustion, emissions and performance. It has successfully executed several industrial consultancy projects funded by organizations like Department of Scientific & Industrial Research(DSIR), Department of Science and Technology(DST), Karnataka Pollution Control Board to name a few. Striving for academic excellence by imparting quality technical education we also mould other essential human traits like discipline, moral values, leadership qualities in our graduate students enabling them to become competent engineers by the end of their course. The department also offers two post graduate programs M.Tech; “Thermal Power Engineering” and “Product Design & Manufacturing” and also Ph. D. Programmes.
