About AMPP India Chapter

The AMPP India Chapter (Hosted by NACE International India Section) was established in 1992. It is one of the largest and most active sections of AMPP, promoting corrosion awareness, protection, and control of corrosion in India. With over 1000 members, AMPP India Chapter has made significant contributions to the field.

Key Achievements

  • Organized over 225 certification courses, including CIP Levels 1, 2, and 3, Nuclear Power Plant Course, and Basic Corrosion.
  • Conducted more than 205 educational corrosion awareness programs.
  • Hosted 28 annual corrosion conferences.
  • Awarded individuals and institutions for contributions to corrosion science and technology during Corrosion Awareness Day.

Student Engagement

The AMPP India Chapter sponsors three student chapters in Mumbai, Chennai, and Vadodara. These chapters have organized “CORSYM,” an international corrosion conference for students.
