AMPP India Chapter (Hosted by NACE International India Section) Corrosion Awareness Award are presented to honour and respect individuals & institutions for their contribution to corrosion awareness and developments in the field of corrosion science and technology in India. Over the years, 162 scientists, teachers, engineers and professionals; along with 59 students, 1 innovation and 30 public / private sector laboratories have been honoured with AIC Corrosion Awareness Awards, presented under various categories.

Invitation of Applications for Corrosion Awareness Awards

AMPP India Chapter invites applications for the following Corrosion Awareness Awards for the year 2025-26 to be presented during CORCON 2026 Corrosion Conference & Expo to be held during 29 – 31 October 2026 at Greater Noida, UP INDIA.

The last date for the receipt of applications at AIC Office is 21st August 2026.

1 - Excellence in Corrosion Science & Technology Awards For excellent contributions to the field of corrosion evaluation, corrosion control, corrosion management and corrosion awareness

Award : A plaque, certificate and honorarium of Rs. 31,000/-

Number of Awards : Two (2)

• Award (1) - A person older than 40 years of age working in research / educational organization
• Award (2) - A person older than 40 years of age working in an industrial organization

2 - Distinction in Corrosion Science & Technology Awards For distinctive contribution to the field of corrosion evaluation, corrosion control, corrosion management and corrosion awareness including some exemplary contributions / achievements

Award : A plaque, certificate and honorarium of Rs. 25,000/-

Number of Awards : Two (2)

• Award (1) - A person between 25 and 40 years of age working in a research / educational organization
• Award (2) - A person between 25 and 40 years of age working in an industrial organization

3 - Excellence in innovation award, For excellent innovative contributions in the field of corrosion science & technology

• Award : A plaque and certificate, Number of Award: One (1)

4 - Excellent Laboratory Award For excellent contribution to the field of corrosion science & technology by monitoring, testing, evaluation of performance and quality of materials, and research / development works.

• Award : A plaque and certificate, Number of Award: One (1)

5 - Student Awards For thesis on corrosion science & technology for degree during the year commencing 1st July 2025 and ending 30th June 2026.

• Award : A plaque, certificate and honorarium

• Award (2) -M Tech / ME / MSc. Degree, Honorarium of Rs 15,000/-

6 - Meritorious Contribution Award For meritorious contributions to the field of corrosion science and technology and activities of AMPP and other similar organizations Award : A plaque, certificate and honorarium of Rs. 51,000/-
