AMPP India Chapter successfully organized a Technical Seminar & Launch Function “CORCON-2025” on May 02, 2025, at Crowne Plaza, Mayur Vihur, Delhi (Noida). Attended by 63 participants from leading organizations i.e. (GAIL, IOCL, MECON, HPCL, BPCL, EIL, IGL, BCPL, BGL, Allied, KBS, Vasu Chemicals, Feedazua, Global Instruments, Seal for Life, Dehn India, Lin Scan, Bajaj Engg., LPGCL, Cris Tech.) and AMPP India Members, this program provided an excellent platform for knowledge exchange on corrosion challenges and solutions in the industry.
The Technical Seminar was attended by all the board members, participants and Mr. U V Vishwakrma, Executive Director-MECON Ltd as Chief Guest at the function.
The function started traditionally by invoking the blessing of Deity by lighting the lamp bf all the dignitaries.
The Technical Seminar commenced with a welcome address by Mr. Dipen Jhaveri, Chairman-AMPP India Chapter, who briefed about the AMPP & AMPP India Chapter. AMPP is a globally recognized organization and is one of the premier institutions providing technical support on corrosion control solutions and training programs. The topic was of the seminar “Earthing of electrically Isolated Buried Oil & Gas Pipelines protected with ICCP system & Significance of DC Decouplers in the Pipeline Earthing” and also introduced of the Chief Guest and all the Speakers with a flower bouquet.
Mr. U V Vishwakrma, Executive Director-MECON Ltd, and Mr. K B Singh, Chairman-CORCON 2025, unveiled the brochure of AMPP India Chapter’s Asia’s CORCON-2025 Largest Corrosion Conference in India, along with Board members Mr. Dipen Jhaveri, Chair-AMPP India, Mr. N Manohar Rao, Chapter Delegate-AMPP India and Mr. Tony Castillo, International Sr. Account Manager-Dairyland Electrical Ind. Mr. K B Singh requested to join the CORCON-2025: 06 Oct to 08 Oct 2025, Jaipur, Rajasthan, and contribute the technical papers, sponsorship, exhibit and participate as delegates for making the conference a grand success.
The Chief Guest of the Seminar Mr. U V Vishwakrma, Executive Director-MECON Ltd in his address stated his gratitude for having been invited and appreciated the role of India Chapter in educating the Indian Industry and fight the corrosion issues by conducting various events and educational programs. He also briefed on the Cathodic Protection for Pipeline and infrastructure.
The program was followed by technical lectures by eminent speakers – interactive session of question and answers was conducted.
