Ms. Nivedita Sarma Bhattacharyya is currently serving as the General Manager and Head of the Cathodic Protection (CP) department at Specialist Material and Maintenance Services (SMMS), Engineers India Ltd (EIL), New Delhi, India.

Professional Experience

With more than 32 years of experience, Ms. Bhattacharyya has worked across various disciplines, including Heat and Mass Transfer, Process & Instrumentation, Costing, Project Planning & Construction, and SMMS. She is regarded as one of the subject matter experts in the field of corrosion control, particularly in Cathodic Protection, serving industries such as oil & gas, offshore & onshore pipelines, platform structures, jetty structures, process & fertilizer plants, OIL caverns, nuclear power plants, and infrastructure projects.

Ms. Bhattacharyya is a certified CP engineer from AMPP (Formerly NACE), Houston, USA. She holds the position of General Secretary at AMPP India (North Zone section) and is an active member of AMPP USA and ICORR Europe. She is also a technical committee member of CORCON, Asia’s largest corrosion conference.
